By: Philippa Ormrod | Latest News | Thursday October 4 2012 17:08

A woman is dead and three others including two children have been injured after a truck and a car crashed in South Auckland.

Mill Road in Totara Park has been closed between Redoubt and Ranfurly roads while police deal with the accident.

Two children aged 12 and 18 months along with a woman have been taken to Middlemore Hospital with moderate to serious injuries.

Police recommend motorists avoid the area as the road is expected to remain closed for at least three hours.
