In a bid to stop any separation anxiety from his iPod, a professional body piercer in New Jersey has surgically attached his iPod to his body.

The Sydney Morning Herald reports Dave Hurban implanted four metal studs into the skin of his wrist and secures his iPod to them magnetically.

The 21-year-old claims to have invented the strapless watch with his iPod set to display a clock.
