New Zealand has claimed its 100th medal in the modern day Olympics. Sailors Peter Burling and Blair Tuke have picked up silver in the men's 49er class, to take our tally to 10 in London. The Kiwi crew had already sewn up second place before the medal race, with world champions Australia also confirmed for the gold. Burling and Tuke finished the regatta in style, picking up second place in the medal race, behind Austria. Denmark finished third to claim the bronze while the Australians crossed the line in fourth.
