By: Sam Thompson | Latest News | Saturday June 30 2012 15:26

Gisborne police have made further arrests in relation to the gang fight in the city on Thursday night, where three people suffered stab wounds.

A man and two women were hospitalised for a time with knife wounds and police have charged a 30-year-old Black Power gang associate in connection to it, and he remains in police custody after an initial court appearance.

They've also since arrested two mongrel mob associates aged 17 and 18 and charged them with a range of offences including possession of offensive weapons, injuring with intent to injure and possessing Molotov cocktails. The pair have also been remanded in custody.

Gisborne police have also made an arrest in connection with an incident where a man's neck was slashed with a bottle early yesterday morning.

He'll be appearing in court on Monday.
