Canty United take 7-nil win

George Slefendorfas has inspired Canterbury United to a seven-nil win over Hawke's Bay United in the ASB football Premiership.

He has scored five goals in the rout in Christchurch to lift Canterbury to outright second on the ladder.

They remain two points behind Auckland City, who have downed Waitakere United 3-1.

Auckland have a game in hand and play Hawke's Bay on Monday.
