Breakers thankful for tough finish

By: Guy Heveldt | Latest Basketball News | Thursday February 23 2012 9:54

The Sky City Breakers are delighted they'll have some extra tough competition heading into the ANBL playoffs.

Of the six games remaining in the regular season four are away and three are against two other sides in the top three on the ladder.

Breakers coach Andrej Lemanis says that run in is perfect come playoffs time.

He says last year they faced straight-forward competition and it stalled them.

That run home begins against the Townsville Crocs on the North Shore tonight.
