Interislander sailings cancelled for two days

Passenger ferry sailings have been cancelled for two days following a near-miss involving one of the Interislander's ferries.

The incident involving the Arahura happened on Monday evening.

One crew member has been stood down until full details of an investigation are finalised.

This means Interislander is now short-staffed and has had to cancel passenger services today and tomorrow.
