Chch land decisions a priority - Brownlee

The Earthquake Recovery Minister wants to ensure red zone home-owners find out the fate of their homes as soon as possible.

Gerry Brownlee says getting information to these property owners is a main priority.

"I think I would like all the land decisions done by, I'm reluctant to put a time on it but as quickly as possible, it's been a long time for a lot of those people."

Mr Brownlee says yesterday's first anniversary of February 22 was an important opportunity to reflect on just how big an event the earthquake that day was.
