Pharmacists are demanding payment for a medicine recall.
GlaxoSmithKline recalled anti-coagulant Marevan in January 2010 after one batch of tablets potentially contained more warfarin than the labelled amount.
The Pharmacy Guild says a District Court judge ruled that a reasonable and proper price should have been paid to Johnson Pharmacy for its work during the recall.
Chief executive Annabel Young says the drug company told the court that the pharmacy would be treated as a test case, meaning others could rely on the decision for their own payment.
However, she says GSK is now not willing to honour this decision.
