MIA upsets while Madonna impresses

Parents groups in the US are upset with the broadcaster of yesterday's Superbowl after one of the performers flipped the bird on air.

Singer MIA was on stage during the half-time show when she made the rude gesture.

NBC has apologised for not blurring it out in time for the broadcast.

Meanwhile Madonna's performance at the Superbowl has impressed the social media world.

The half-time show triggered 8,000 tweets per second for five minutes and 2.4 million tweets all up.
