Woman in sawmill explosion

A woman has been flown to hospital after an explosion at a sawmill on the West Coast.

The woman was left with burns to her face and neck after the electrical transformer she was working on at a Inangahua sawmill exploded.

Police say the injuries are moderate and she has been flown to Grey Base Hospital in Greymouth.
