Teens' charges upgraded to murder

The two teens previously charged with assault in relation to a brutal death in Rotorua, have today had their charges withdrawn and upgraded to murder.

The two aged 14 and 15 have been charged with the murder of Roman Skorek, who was found dead in Kuirau Park last month.

Two others, Simon Herewini and Rawiri Samuel, have already been charged with Mr Skorek's murder.

The four accused will next appear in court on March 6.
